Word Families :- The most common words

  The meaning of word families :-

Word families  : - They are groups of words that have a common pattern or groups of letters with the same sound.  For example, at, cat, hat, and fat are a family of words with the “at” sound and letter combination in common .

Let 's start with the first set of  word families (At) set : -

It is a bat .

I have a cat .

There is a cat and a bat in the flat .

 He is  fat .

 It is a red hat .

There is a mat .

. There is a pat

  I see a rat .

  They sat on the bench .

The second set of word families (An) set :-

It is a fan .

He is a man .

It is a pan .

She ran fast .

Her skin tans very quickly in the summer  .

It is a big van .

Let's move to the ( Am)  word family set :-

  I am a boy .

  It is a ham .

  I see a ram .

She love eating the jam .

He love  eating the yam .

Let's move to the ( Ad ) word family set :-

She is in a bad mood .

He is a lad .

  He is so mad .

  It is a pad .

Let's move to the ( Ap) word family set : -

It is a red cap .

He laps his son .

It is a map .

She takes a nap .

It is a tap .

She snaps a pretty photos .

Let's move to the ( Ag)  word family set : -

 She has a bag .

It is a red flag .

Let's move to ( Ar )  word family set : -

He drives a red car .

The mountain is so far .

It is a caw .

The lawyer work on the law .

He cut the wood with the saw .

The dog has four paws .

Story Time : -

I have a fat cat. My little cat wears a lovely hat and she sat on the mat but, when she saw the rat eat the pat in the kitchen. She ran to ban the rat and she caught the bad rat. I gave her a slice of ham. I went with her to take a tan on the beach. We met a man in the road who has a van but he looks very sad and he wore a beautiful cap. Also he had a map. My cat took a nap while I snap some photos. I opened my bag and dragged a flag .
